The role of the Common Rail Pressure Sensor: measure the real-time pressure of the fuel in the common rail with sufficient accuracy and in a relatively short time, and convert the pressure signal into a voltage signal and transmit it to the ECU at the same time, so as to realize the control of the injection precision and injection timing . It is generally installed on the common rail pipe, and the measurement range is generally 0~200MPa. Generally speaking, the pressure sensor cannot be disassembled from the common rail pipe. If it is damaged, the common rail pipe must be replaced at the same time.
The working principle of the common rail pressure sensor: the fuel of the engine flows into the rail pressure sensor through a hole on the common rail, and the end of the hole is sealed by a sensor membrane. Fuel under high pressure reaches the sensor membrane through a blind hole. A sensor element (semiconductor component) is arranged on this membrane, and the pressure is converted into an electrical signal by this element. The generated electrical signal is sent to the evaluation circuit through the wire, which amplifies the signal and sends it to the ECU.
