  The method of judging the quality of the Oxygen Sensor: front oxygen broadband sensor: according to its principle, it can be divided into wide oxygen sensor and narrow oxygen sensor, of which the wide oxygen sensor has six lines, mainly appearing on the national five or six cars. Its pins are defined as heating power line, heating control line (duty cycle), virtual ground wire, oxygen sensor signal line, oxygen pump current control line, oxygen pump current signal feedback line.

  When judging the quality of the front oxygen broadband sensor, the voltage value of these six lines can be measured separately with a multimeter. The voltage that heats the power line is the battery voltage, which is about 12V when the ignition is turned on and 14V when the vehicle is started. When the vehicle starts, the voltage of the heating control line will jump around 7V~8V. The voltage of the virtual ground wire is basically around 2.54V in any case; when the vehicle is started, the voltage of the oxygen sensor signal line is about 2.99V. The voltage of the oxygen pump current control line is basically the same as the voltage of the oxygen pump current signal feedback line, which varies between 2.1V-2.8V.It should be noted that there is a voltage difference between the virtual ground wire and the oxygen signal line, about 4.5V, if the results measured by the multimeter are different from the above values, indicating that the oxygen sensor is damaged or the wiring harness is faulty, and the sensor or repair the wiring harness needs to be replaced. In addition, the broadband front oxygen sensor has five lines, but it is one less feedback signal line than the six lines, and other detection and judgment methods are basically the same.
