Causes of malfunctions that suddenly stall during excavator work:

1. Diesel oil circuit failure;

2. Parking relay failure;

3. Parking Solenoid valve failure;

4. Speed transmission sensor failure;

5. KCM controller failure;

6. Line failure;

7. Mechanical failure of parking Solenoid Valve.

Failure analysis:Sudden engine stalling, but normal after restarting, indicating poor line contact or parking mechanism failure, eliminate the external line and then determine other fault causes, determine whether there are other phenomena.

For example, Komatsu PC110 excavator suddenly stalls during work fault repair:

1. Test the machine and confirm the sudden flameout phenomenon during the operation.

2. Observe under the condition of power-on, the parking solenoid valve works normally, and the parking solenoid valve works normally when the fire is turned off, and the parking solenoid valve fault can be eliminated.

5. Check and measure and find that the engine Speed Sensor is normal, it is determined that the speed signal amplifier is faulty, and the test machine is tested after replacing the speed signal amplifier, and the fault disappears.
